I would just like to thank everybody for supporting the very successful launch of our new online retail supermarket on Friday 8th May.
The response has been truly fantastic with the first 50 sales recorded in less than one hour from the time the site was open for business. Our customers feed back regarding the website has been very encouraging with most of our customers impressed with the layout, the products and the smooth and easy way to place orders online. Apart from the expected minor snags you expect with a new venture everything went extremely smoothly although first orders will take a little while to process and get delivered. With regard to product availability please remember that there has been huge shortages caused by the ongoing Covid19 pandemic in UK. Fortunately that situation is now easing , but we took the decision at the launch of showing as many of the portfolio of products that will be available over the coming few weeks if not here now.
The port is currently under tremendous pressure and we are waiting on customs to process and clear current containers. Obviously your orders and deliveries are dependent on us receiving these goods, so we thank you for your patience in advance as our customs brokers work with the authorities to get those containers released.
